New MRXVT!!!


So tasty! I got a new mrxvt rpm submitted to Fedora. mrxvt-0.5.3.tar.gz was built with the new scroll patch. It's in Fedora rawhide and will soon be in F8 as an update. In the interim you can find it here.

FrankenCluster Teardown/Rebuild

Site Maintenance

The fan in this system's power supply started going wonky a few days ago so I decided to change it out this morning.  It's all done! and I tell ya, there is nothing like a quiet office!!!  :-)

FrankenCluster v.0.1


Well I finally got the frankencluster up and running!!! Mwaa hahaha!!! Mwaaa hahaha!! Basically I've created an LTSP setup with three nodes and a terminal server. Atop that setup I'm going to add Condor so I can do some basic job processing. Not really a high end cluster perse but hey, when you have no money, and a bunch of old machines, it'll do in a pinch.
